You can read this website and download its public files whether you allow or decline optional analytics.

Allow or decline

We load Google Analytics only after you choose “Accept cookies”. Choose “Decline cookies” to browse without this analytics tag. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. With JavaScript disabled, this analytics tag does not run.

What is measured

When allowed, Google Analytics uses cookies and browser identifiers to measure page visits, file-download link clicks, clicks to our two HV56 videos or Science Insight YouTube channel, and visit sources. Google may also derive approximate location and browser/device statistics. A file-link click is not proof that a download completed; a YouTube-link click does not prove that a video was watched.

The page URL supplied by our tag uses the public canonical address without query strings or fragments; referrers are reduced to their origin. For our YouTube click events we send only the fixed public video or channel address and its language, not arbitrary link text or query values. We do not ask visitors for their name or email through analytics. Advertising consent is denied, and this tag disables Google Signals and advertising personalization.

Recognized campaign links use only five predefined combinations: YouTube/video or X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Facebook/social, each with the campaign name hv56_v9_1. We send these campaign labels only when all three match; incomplete, repeated or unknown values are ignored. We do not forward free-text campaign terms/content. This filtering adds no separate campaign storage in the browser.

Cookies and your saved preference

Your allow/decline choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. Our tag requests a 60-day lifetime for Analytics cookies. Browser settings can shorten these periods. If you withdraw consent, the tag is disabled and its accessible first-party Analytics cookies are cleared. When the choice can be saved, the page reloads to stop its listeners. If browser storage is blocked, your choice may apply only to the current page; use your browser's site-data controls to clear an old saved choice. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not erase reports already collected.

An open page checks the consent deadline automatically and rechecks saved choices when you return to the tab. Expiry disables Analytics and clears its accessible cookies without interrupting the page. उघड्या पानावरही संमतीची मुदत तपासली जाते. मुदत संपल्यावर मोजणी थांबते; पान वाचणे सुरू ठेवता येते.

Who can see reports

Analytics reports are held in the website owner's Google Analytics account, and access is controlled there. They are not displayed on this public website. Google processes the analytics data as the service provider. Visitors who decline analytics, block scripts or use incompatible browsers may not be counted.

Other website services

The hosting service still receives network requests needed to deliver pages and files. The analytics choice controls Google Analytics, not those essential requests. Links to YouTube and other external sites are governed by those services' policies when you open them.

Our hosting infrastructure uses Cloudflare to help protect the website from automated abuse. Cloudflare may set security cookies such as __cf_bm independently of your optional Google Analytics choice. These cookies support bot protection; they are not our visitor-counting cookies. वेबसाइटवरील स्वयंचलित गैरवापर रोखण्यासाठी होस्टिंगकडून Cloudflareची सुरक्षा सेवा वापरली जाते. त्यासाठी काही सुरक्षा cookies लागू होऊ शकतात. Analyticsला नकार दिला तरी या सुरक्षा सेवा लागू राहू शकतात; Google Analyticsची ऐच्छिक भेट-मोजणी मात्र सुरू होत नाही.
